Ki-Gu-Mi is a range of beautifully designed, eco-friendly 3D wooden sculptures. These build-it-yourself sculptures are popular in gift, souvenir, toy and stationery stores.
Designed with the iconic principles of Japanese architecture, Kigumi (木組み) is the woodworking technique in which joints are held together by a perfect balance of opposite forces, instead of using nails or adhesives.
And they’re easy to make. Each model comes flat-packed in a number of pre-cut plywood sheets. Customers simply push out the parts and then assemble according to the instructions. Piece-by-piece the Ki-Gu-Mi sculpture comes to life.
